Thanks so much to the Oregon Randonneurs for making Verboort part of your route.  I was the guy manning the bike corral and I appreciated the help from the folks staffing the control. At times it was difficult to tell who was a dinner worker and who was a bike control worker! 

As a bicyclist myself I always try to help "spread the gospel" about cycling, and how much fun it is, and how good it is for you.  Your group was a great spokesperson for this.  People saw that even on a rainy day folks could ride bike and be reasonably comfortable.....  and even have smiles on their faces after 100k!
