[ORRando] Invitation for Italy 2013

Dear Fellow Randonneurs, 
Here are our plans for 2013. With Victoria's own Ryder Hesjedal winning the Giro d'Italia, I had to include another Giro Tour.  Interested in a private tour or larger group booking email me.....many options are available.

Tour #1, Giro D' Italia Tour,  May 8 - May 17 $1695 ($1595 if booked by Nov. 15/12, Group of 3 $1395 )                          This tour will be an expansion of our 2011 tour and will include taking in 2 stages of the Giro D'Italia.  You  will be riding the roads previously used by the Giro and also taking in some great destinations. The itinerary is designed for the rider comfortable riding in a group, at a brisk pace. (fully supported)

Tour #2, 2 Week Couples Tour May 21 - June 4 $1995  SOLD OUT

Tour #3, 12 Days, Two Provinces Roadie Tour, June 13 - June 24 $1895  ($1695 if booked by Nov 15/12, Group of 3 $1595, of 6 $1495)                                                                                                                                                            The diversified countryside of Abruzzo includes all types of terrain, great climbs with  spectacular scenery, long thrilling descents and flat river valleys for some brisk pace-line riding. We will also be venturing north to the Province of the Marche and the city of Ascoli Piceno. Highlights include staying at one of Italy's best organic wineries and partaking in the City of Teramo Gran Fondo....one of my favourite cycling events.  Our itinerary will also take us farther south to explore and stay a night in the region of Chieti. Mileage ranges from 65 to 130km per day with 2 full rest days.  (fully supported)

Tour #4, Semi-Guided Tour,  Starting June 27,  1 or 2  week options starting at $675/person 1 week, $875/person 2 week (Prices based on double occupancy)                                                                                                                These tours represent exceptional value for those who are a little more independent (nonsupported). A guide book outlining 30 possible cycling routes is provided, 2 days of guiding, access to my bike shop and map. Your accomodation is in one of our three village houses. We arrange pickup from Teramo.  We will introduce you to the village and area, providing you with many useful tips/recommendations. We will host you to a welcome dinner at one of our favourite restaurants. 

-Some meals are included in all tours, details are in the itineraries.  All accomodation is provided.

-Rental Bikes are available.
