Hi!

Thought some of you might be interested. Here is the link to the review I
wrote about the above-noted fenders for www.roadbikerider.com (RBR). I
found out about this free weekly newsletter several years ago when riding
one of the Randonneurs U.S.A. brevets. Topical, technical and entertaining
with a focus on road bike cyclists).

The review is at the following link, but will only be on the free site for a
relatively short while before it is moved on to the 'premium' site - which
doesn't cost much and has a lot of extra information on it.

http://www.roadbikerider.com/product-reviews/accessories/roadracer-mk2-mudgu
ards These fenders (mudguards) for bicycles with tight-fitting fender
clearances are available in Victoria through local bicycle stores. They are
also available in Vancouver, so I assume they are available at local
bicycle stores throughout Canada. REI and local bicycle stores in the
U.S.A. also carry them.

Note: Since this review was published, I had a few cyclists add a couple of
provisos:

. These fenders will likely not work well when riding through
cycle-cross type unpaved roads with lots of sticky mud

. Another rider was concerned about the ability of these light-weight
fenders to stand up to wind speeds of over 120 kph when she transports her
bike on the top of her car. So far, the testing is going well . she plans
to try 140 kph, eventually 180 kph when trying to catch a BC Ferry at the
last minute. There are rumours that the RCMP have her in their little black
book . and soon in their radar trap! J

RBR will soon be publishing my review of O2 Rainwear rain jackets - which
sadly, are available only in the U.S.A. - although obtainable off their
website http://o2rainwear.com/

Cheers . Ken
