[ORRando] Absolutely Undecided & Unsupported 1000k

I did the 2007 Poorman's 1000k (as a 600k/400k back to back) and I
really enjoyed it. It covered a lot of beautiful roads in areas that I
was not familiar with. The last night we had a total eclipse of the
moon, which made that ride absolutely unforgettable.

I also did the 2008 Wilsonville 1000k, and it was great. I seem to
remember it being more challenging than Poorman, and a lot of it was on
the familiar scenic Oregon roads that we use on other brevets.

I will not be riding our spring 1000k this year (too close to the GRR),
but I would highly recommend either of those two routes, which encompass
some of the finest riding that you can do in our region.

The event is still unforgettable to me... and rando-nesia has not set in after 2 years. However, I have never forgotten that there were 2 riders who did Glacier unsupported (Greg Cox and Mark Thomas)

Completely unsupported, you figure out how to get your clean shorts to Kellogg or Wallace ID (I'd recommend Wallace as Day 2 should be difficult... think Dobson and Thompson Passes in both directions). CDL trail in both directions! The Pauloose "Hill, Hill, Hill Hell".
