Hey fellow Randos,

If you enjoy bicycling in wool, you might want to check out Icebreaker,
which is across 11th from Powell's downtown. They make really nice, 100%
merino wool garments. They don't have any cycling specific stuff, but what
they do have is pretty appropriate for lots of athletic/outdoors
activities. Their stuff is usually on the expensive side, but they're
having a clearance sale on last year's models, 30% off, which brings it into
a pretty reasonable price range.

They're also having a food drive; bring in a donation of canned food, and
they'll sell you a really nice pair of merino wool socks for $5, which is a
pretty good deal, too.

I'm not an employee, and they didn't pay me to endorse 'em. I'm just
telling you all because, a) you might be interested, and b) I need someone
to go down there and buy up all the clearance items in my size before I'm
tempted to spend more money that I can't afford.
