I've ridden the Snoozeville Populaire with you folks, and follow this list =
regularly but don't consider myself a rando kind of guy. (different strokes=
 for different folks, it's all good)=A0 =


I do want to let you all know that one of your members, D. Jason Penney, si=
gned on as a volunteer support crew member for my Race Across Oregon team. =
He was a valuable asset to us, a premier planner, taking all sorts of conti=
ngencies into account and taking a leadership position in our support crew.=
=A0 If he was any reflection of randoneuers in general you are all indeed a=
 good group of folks.

His skills and the support of the crew helped us to win our division by 1 h=
our and 50 minutes over the second place team, and we broke the old course =
record by 2 hours and 8 minutes.=A0 Not too shabby for a bunch of old guys =
on bikes trying to ride a 535 mile course with 40,000 ft vertical!

A big tip of the hat to Jason, he may be rando, but he's a good egg!=A0 ;-)
