No, apparently we just ride 3 and 4 abreast. Probably on roads with no cars whatsoever, but it was pointed out to me after I posted it to Portland Velo as well, a few days ago. Us? Paceline? Snicker.
The deal is, a PowWow with local cycling organizations and Law Enforcement is being contemplated, and you may get a call. I tried to explain that rando isn't like other cycling organizations, but there you have it.

Did you mean to post this to Portland Velo? I spend a lot of time observing randos on the road...this doesn't sound like them at all. I've never had to tell someone they have too many folks in a paceline, blowing stop signs and they are behaving badly.... however I have had to put more light or reflective gear on a few who couldn't see themselves from behind.
This is why a rando is a rando. They do this to have nothing to do with cycling groups who are like this.

Hi All,
There was an column in this past week's Oregonian Washington County Weekly, quoting an Irate Good Citizen.

So, let's try to not be like that group the Irate Good Citizen is describing. Not that there are 20-40 of us all together, but riding more than 2 abreast is an observed behavior.
Some other Worthy and Upright Citizen might take it upon his or herself to "teach those cyclists a lesson", and I'd rather it not be any of us they decide need lessoning. Or any other cyclist, for that matter.
Lynne "almost hit by two separate drivers rolling stops and not looking today. But who's counting?" F
