44 starters and 43 finishers (including 2 preriders).

Sounds like conditions were great all day.
I went on the road just before sunset and checked on all 28 riders still on the road. Every rider had superb lighting and gear, most were clumped in groups of 2 or 3 with a mere handful of solos.  Unusually warm for our spring evenings.
First rider was in 5PM + (making for 11+ hrs), last rider in 1AM (making for 19 hrs). 5 Recumbents and 5 women.
