Gee, I didn't realize RUSA existed in the early part of the 20th
century.
Gonna need to brush up on my history.

Hi There,

As the title of the movie goes: That was then; this is now.

If the French can come up with 750+ miles/1200+ Km of paved roads to run
this years PBP on, then we can surely follow suit for something less
than that distance.

Cheers,

Gary

How much of PBP would you say was paved in the early part of the 20th
century?

Gravel may not be the stuff of the UMCA, but it certainly is the stuff
of the RUSA.

The rider list is approaching 60 in number so I'm expecting a good size
crowd of maybe 70-75 as some of the non-members don't realize how
important preregistering is.

If you haven't preregisted. Do so now.

Remember to park far away from the Lodge.

Longbottoms may be crowded. Portland Velo now starts their ride at 10am
so we'll be getting there as PV is leaving. Look for Cecil & Bill with
the ORR sign to get in and out fast.

Susan.
