[OrRando] Hwy 26 (Sunset Hwy) westbound will be closed next Fridaynight through Saturday night

Hello All,

Since I'm coming in from the East and don't know the Portland area, can anyone make a suggestion about getting around the slide area? I'll be coming thru at about 1700 or so?

I'm looking forward to riding again with the OR.

Clarification of which part of Hwy 26 - heading out of the tunnel from
Portland, probably up to at least the Zoo exit, maybe Sylvan.  They probably
won't let you get onto Hwy 26 westbound from within Portland at all.

If you are planning to drive out to the Grand Lodge for the Three Capes next
Saturday, the westbound lanes of Hwy 26 (aka the Sunset Hwy) will be closed
from 11:45pm on Friday until 8pm on Saturday, to do more landslide cleanup.

Plan your alternate route now!
