I agree and have had the same experience.  I was just responding to someone 
else's mention of water proof issues.

Again I agree, not a big issue, just a minor annoyance, more like the 
difference between that QR and the nuts you used to have on your rear axel.

for me, it falls in the category of "if it aint broke, dont fix it"
To which I would respond, it does not have to be bad to get better

I figured someone would point that out, so what do you think they would have 
said 40 years ago?
