Riders might wish to note that at around mile 196 the bottom of Clodfelter
Rd is closed and impassable due to major road construction work.

The immediate alternative is to detour via Ridgeline, Clearwater, Steptoe
and then through the southern neighborhoods of Kennewick on 4th. But a
pleasanter and easier alternative is probably to avoid turning north and
descending Clodfelter at around mile 191 and instead continue on Locust
Grove, then 397, until turning north and descending on Olympia, taking it
all the way to 10th to rejoin the route as currently described.
