region, please pass on the information.   
 
An account has been set up to fund a reward for information, as well as
to help defray medical costs for Lynn.   All contributions are

As described in Maile's message below to the DC Randonneurs email list,
she and Lynn Kristianson were hit by an SUV while riding a 200K
permanent on February 22, and the driver fled the scene leaving them
lying in the road. Maile is thankfully recovering at home now, but Lynn
is still in a Shock Trauma unit with very serious injuries. Despite
efforts by the police, the driver and vehicle have not yet been found,
so a reward fund has been established to increase the chances of
catching the person who hit them and to potentially defray some of the
medical costs associated with Lynn's medical care and recovery.

If you live in the Mid-Atlantic region, please spread the word about the
vehicle and note the license number of any light-colored Honda CR-V with

As all of you know, Lynn Kristianson and I were hit by a car while
riding a permanent on February 22nd.  Lynn remains in the hospital as a
consequence of the collision with life altering injuries.  A fund has
been established to create a reward for capture and prosecution of the
hit and run driver and to defray some of the medical costs associated
with Lynn's medical care and recovery.


The police have been diligently investigating the incident and tracking
down leads.  Unfortunately nothing has yet led to capturing the person
who fled the scene, leaving two people laying in the road.  We are
hoping that a reward might trigger someone's memory of a friend or
neighbor showing up with a damaged CR-V on the night of February 22.


Everybody has been asking what they can do for Lynn and to support
Gordon and Lynn's family through this.  They will need a lot of help and
support and help in the coming months.  For right now, most of what
needs to be done is in the hands of the doctors and nurses at the UM
Baltimore Medical Center Shock Trauma unit.  

What you can do is donate to the reward and care fund at

link to the fund through your favorite social media networks.
