[ORRando] Last Call for Bikenfest

The worker ride was last Saturday. The website has been updated with a new Trimble Outdoors map showing the route with control locations. The GPS links all provide accurate routes and the route sheet and GPS tracks are in agreement. The route sheet on the web site is final. Changes will be pen and ink before the ride starts on Saturday. You can download the entire spreadsheet which includes the route sheet, a map and profile. The profile is based on 15,800 data points from the Garmin 800 tcx file. 

Please note that exit 64 in Hood River is closed to east bound traffic. If you are coming from Portland, you have to take exit 63 or you will end up in Mosier. The web site has more verbiage and a handy Google map you can use to generate driving instructions. There are traffic revisions because of the freeway overpass bridge replacement at exit 64. Also be warned that Friday night is First Friday in downtown Hood River. There will be total embarrassment as old codgers party and dance in the streets to 1970's music. Soooo embarrassing, gah!
