[ORRando] Looking for someone to Sherpa a Showers Pass jacket to France

I will finally be getting the very last of the backordered RUSA Showers Pass jackets next week - it is for a California rider, Vickie Backman. Unfortunately, she has already left for France. I am wondering if there is any Portland-metro-based Or Rando PBP rider who will not be leaving for France until after this Wednesday that would be willing to take the jacket with her/him and deliver it to Vickie in France - she her message below about where she is staying.

Sure – it looks like they are having a cool and rainy year. I will be doing the Davis Club Friday ride out of the Campanile, and I’m staying at the Novotel. The Friday ride is possibly the best time to pass it on?

Vickie - I know you have already left for PBP, so I am not sure if you are checking e-mail - but if there is a chance that I could have someone from Oregon bring the jacket to you in France for PBP, would you want it?

Yep. I’ll still like it next winter…. I’m going to PBP, leaving August 6. I have a basic SP jacket, and it is just great. I wear it for my night jacket, so I will wear it out.

Vickie - the latest ETA on the Elite 2.0 Showers Pass RUSA check you ordered is July 15. If it does indeed arrive that day and I can get it to the screen printers immediately, I should be able to get it to you by August 1. But until the jackets actually arrive at Showers Pass, I can't guarantee anything. You have been waiting so patiently - do you still want it? Let me know!
