[ORRando] snooseville recap

Hi Tonya,

The protocol is to call the ride organizer, whose number is printed on both the cue sheet and the brevet card.

In the case of Snooseville, the gentleman in the blue Intel kit and red rain jacket (I think it was Michael Mann) informed us of your status when he finished. He was also the one who called from Dairy Creek to inform us about the rider with the broken chain.

Sorry to hear about your flats. I DNF'd this same ride 2 years ago because of multiple flats.

Cheers, B.

My hands became numb as I worked with my Gatorskins a little too long after getting the flat L  and so had to quit at Banks. What is the protocol if one has to finish early?

Hello All,

Thanks to all who braved the elements and participated in last Saturday's windy populaire. Thirty-eight riders started, 30 finished, seven returned straight to Hillsboro from Dairy Creek Rd , one made it as far as Banks, and one had his chain break.

I posted of recap of the day's events at
http://tangobiker.blogspot.com/2009/03/soggy-snooseville.html,
and some pictures at

I will add a couple dozen more pics later this week.

Cheers, Bill
