[ORRando] Horrendous winds, blinding rain...

..were not part of the Tri-Cities 200 on Saturday. Instead, Paul Whitney
delivered crystal clear skies, ideal temps, a gentle wind that managed to
always be a headwind (sigh) and good company. The headwind was just enough
to remind us how brutal the winds can be in this area and how lucky we were
not to have that experience.
The scenery was spectacular as we worked out way up the Yakima River valley.
The promised views of Rainer and Adams appeared on queue. The controls were
well spaced and with sufficient junk food to satisfy. The control in Benton
City was labeled the "Taco Maker". In Zillah, it was the "Golden Nugget".
You get the idea.
I made some new friends. Easy to do when you start near the front and
finish near the back. ;-)
Thanks for a great ride, Paul.
