At Interbike I took a look at Earth Wind & Rider's jerseys. They looked
beautiful. But offhand, I don't remember where they were manufactured,
or if they made women's. Might be worth looking into though. I have no
first hand experience with them, so this isn't an endorsement.

Thanks to all who've replied. I am keeping track of everyone who has
indicated interest.

Here's what I've learned so far:

1. Kucharik jerseys are made in the US. Embroidery is expensive and
feels vaguely discouraged. It seems that John Kucharik would rpefer to
sell us blank jerseys and have us deal with the embroidery elsewhere. On
the plus side, the jerseys resist shrinkage and are very well made, very
durable. On the negative side, there is no womens-specific sizing.

2. Woolistic is happy to copy our existing lettering (which frankly
would be easier for me since I am absolutely NOT computer-literate
enough to deal with graphic files on a computer). The jersey color could
stay the same, sans the mid-chest stripe whcih some people have told me
they weren't really into. I'd vote to keep it simple, with red jersey,
black striping on cuffs. collar and bottom ribbing, and gold lettering
utilizing the same design as before. This would also provide good
continuity with those who already own a jersey from previous years.

3. Anyone who feels strongly about totally re-designing the jersey -- I
am fine with that but as I said cannot deal with any computer-based
files of any sort. If there is enough consensus for a total re-design
then I would probably have to turn this over to someone else. If people
are comfortable with going with a variation on the existing design then
I can proceed.

3a. Does anyone have a computer or hard-copy file of the existing
artwork for the lettering? If so I can send it along. Otherwise I
already sent him photos and measurements of the lettering as it
currently exists on the jersey and he said that would be no problem at
all to replicate.

3b. Another plus in Woolistic's favor is that they come highly
recommended AND they do not charge a fee for artwork setup if you place
a minimum order (40 jerseys).

Woolistic's minimum quantity for custom jerseys is 40 (mix and match
sizes and long or short sleeve within that order. I am waiting for a
quote from Woolistic for the design I described above. When I get this
quote I will report back.

Thanks --Beth
