[OrRando] 1000K - Parking in Whitefish?

I have been brainstorming a lot about how I'm going to get from Point
A to Point B up there when I come for the 1000K.  Something that
occurred to me is, leaving my car up there before the ride and taking
the Amtrak to Portland then, say, on Thursday evening before the ride.

Whitefish and Portland are pretty much equidistant from Austin, Texas
where I'll be driving from, so there's really no mileage penalty.

But I am wondering if, there is any parking available at the train
station and if so is it OK to leave a car there for 5 days.

Also, if anyone else is thinking of leaving a car up there in
Whitefish, maybe we could arrange something to where I could meet you
there and we could leave one car and carpool back to Portland in the
other car.  Just kind of brainstorming out loud on that.
