[OrRando] Three Praries Perm

There is a store? Do you mean the lot immediately on the right as you turn
off the road? Before you have to pay to go into the park?

Thanks!

That's a bit late for me guys - so here is the plan (for Lynne and John
Kramer and any others interested): we'll start the 50 mile ride at Champoeg
State Park at the lot in front of the store. Be ready to roll at 12:00
noon. I'll bring the route sheet - but it won't be the one the 200K group
is on. We'll find something fun and scenic and ... with a Taco in the way!

Please check eMail one more time (by 10am) PST Saturday for possible
updates.

Well, here's a shot at elapsed time to Champoeg: 6-7 hrs (about 77 miles).
With a 730 departure that means 1330 to 1430 at Champeog. Hard to tell how
the weather will affect us and how energetic our group may be. One thought
is that I could call David Rowe when we return to Newberg. That might give
the 50 miler's enough time to drive to Champeog and meet us there.

Ray, Marcello, what do you think?

I'll review that - I forgot to mention for the 50-mile club - we'll meet the
200K riders at Champoeg State Park. I expect to maintain an average riding
speed of ~18ish. Of course, part of the trip will be the continuing search
for the ultimate taco.

Bert is quite good at using his GPS to estimate his ETAs ... but ... Ray -
do you know what time you guys plan to start?

Contact Susan about download.

I haven't ridden much either so I plan on slow pace

if we can rein in Bert.

David: For Bert and Ray start time see info

at bottom of original post.

I think you'll have time for a full lunch

before you see us.

I am planning to be ready to ride out of the parking lot at noon with John
Kramer. Lets color that start time flexible until we get a better fix on
the hour that Bert and Ray expect to hit that intersection on the leg south
to Mt Angel. If they start at 6 we should see them about noon. Could
easily be 1-2 hours later than that. Make sure you have lights and
reflective gear. I rode out on French Prairie last Sunday - it was crystal
clear - and I need my lights on at 4:30.

I'll put out a firm start time for the 50 this evening.

Start location I need more info. Also pace you plan on
doing it in. I havent riden in two weeks and might do
the 50 mile option with some others. Sounds like Lynn
and David are doing that.
