That sounds nice. Back in my drinking days I made a variety of ales, the best bitter within 1/4 mile (which at the time took in Fish Tale ales) a very good stout, and a lager that was on par with the best Pils. Ahh, those were the days!

Could be true. I have gotten 3 volunteers so far. What I forgot to mention and what these volunteers know, is that we don't buy beer in this house. It is all my son's and his girlfriends homebrew. My laundry room is lined with Carboys in various stags of fermentation. And we have a dedicated fridge for the "Regional Beer Administrator".

  Susan.

nine rando's doing the work of three? If I had to speculate I'd think maybe more like 3X as long. I mean, think of all those cookies, and chips, and hot coffee, cuppanudes, and sport drink that would be involved.

Better count me in. If you get 9 volunteers will the tasks get completed in 1/3 the time?

      for anyone who helps me:

a.. sort about 250 brevet and permanent cards
        b.. Print 150+ envelopes
c.. lick ACP certificates and puts them on the correct card
d.. put cards in the correct envelope
e.. stuff personalized RUSA applications in the correct envelope
f.. stuff personalized ORR applications in the correct envelope
g.. fridge magnets in each... cutting magnets is like making bread... therapeutic
        h.. business cards
i.. ACP medals, double checking with submission results and RBA notes
        j.. Sort 150+envelopes
k.. Newsletter?? Who did the newsletter? OK, you might not get a newsletter
l.. Postage...hmm there's a difference between Bert's bulging packet and our much thinner envelope of drop-in Populaire riders...weigh envelopes
m.. Write out checks for those who overpaid for some reason or another..
        n.. Fleche Certificates...next year's addition
I think you get the idea. Next year I'll need about 3 volunteers to help with this end of year chore.

But for this year... I appreciate everyone's patience. I'm still waiting for 67 ACP medals which have just arrived in the US from France. But then, there are dozens of RBAs waiting for medals from France too. I'll be sending you 2006 packets when they are all complete.

      Cheers,

      Susan.
